ADA Law and Service Animal Policies

Liberty Wildlife Service Animal Rules

  1. Your Service Animal must be up to date on vaccinations.
  2. The ADA requires Service Animals to be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the Service Animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices in which case, the Service Animal must still be under the handler’s control by voice or signal commands.
  1. Disruptive behavior (excessive barking, pulling, and the animal not under your control) to other Liberty Wildlife guests or Liberty Wildlife animals will not be tolerated.
  1. If the presence of the Service Animal produces a negative reaction from our Liberty Wildlife animals at any time, please leave the area.
  1. If Liberty Wildlife animals are out on display with handlers, or during a presentation, do not approach. Liberty Wildlife handlers will provide cues as to the best direction to proceed away from the area.
  1. If your Service Animal needs to relieve itself, please proceed to the Sculpture Garden Path located in the front of the building, west of the walkway. Please clean up after your animal as needed.
  1. To ensure a positive outcome for you, your Service Animal, and other guests, please respond to commands from Liberty Wildlife personnel.
  1. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in removal from the facility.
  1. Please review and follow the Service Animal Restrictions map.
