Elwood St.\, Phoenix\, Arizona 85040 \n  \n  \nFeatured artists include: \n  \nThe Sinquah Family Hoop Dancers \n The Sinquah Family (Scott\, Sampson\, and Moontee)\, is an entertaining\, inspiring\, and educational dance troupe that consists of World Champion Hoop Dancers. \nScott a champion Fancy War dancer\, in the USA and Canada\, Sampson is a champion Prairie Chicken dancer\, and Moontee is a champion Grass dancer. \n  \n  \nAllen King\, Northern Traditional Dancer \nThe Northern Traditional dance evokes the style of Plains Indians\, their hunting parties and warriors\, their traditional regalia\, and their bravery and courage. Two of the dances Alan will be performing are the Sneak-Up Song and the Crow Hop. \n  \nThe Salt River Traditional Dancers \n This group began with a focus on providing an opportunity for its members to gain more knowledge of O’odham culture and traditions through song and dance\, with the goal of passing those teachings on to future generations. They will be performing their traditional basket dance. \n  \nBird Singing and Dancing by the River Group \nTheir performance will be highlighted with their young dancers doing the quail dance. \n  \nGila River Basket Dancing Group \nThis group will be performing the traditional Gila River Basket Dance \n  \nEdwin De Luna \nWill be exhibiting his extensive collection of Native American Regalia and paraphernalia. \n  \nFor more information on Liberty Wildlife and the Feather Repository go to www.libertywildlife.org. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Help clean up the Rio Salado habitat behind Liberty Wildlife’s building then stay to attend our Earth Day event!\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nHelp keep the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration area clean by joining Liberty Wildlife and Litter Critters AZ for a morning of litter pick up. \nWe will meet at Liberty Wildlife in Phoenix at 8am. Please park across the street from the facility in the dirt parking lot then gather in the lobby. \nWear sturdy closed-toed shoes\, long pants & long sleeves\, a hat & sunscreen. \nBring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. You can refill your bottle on site. \nAll cleanup supplies will be provided: garbage bags/buckets\, gloves\, grabbers for most. If you have any supplies please bring them along! \nThis event is open to all ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. \nAnyone who takes part in this cleanup will get FREE admission to Liberty Wildlife’s Earth Day event from 10am until 1pm that day! Stay to see their animal ambassadors\, interactive lab\, hands-on activities geared toward kids & meet local environmental groups. It’s a great time for the whole family! \nLiberty Wildlife is located at 2600 E Elwood in Phoenix.
